What if the God(s) cannot hear us?

That is,
they exist beyond us.
They being immortal.
Us, being mortal.


What if the eternal good is man-made?
A cultural value passed from generation to generation.
The value being immortal.
Us,
the value holders,
being mortal.


I can hear them in the millions…
”Turn to Jesus”.
The idea of Jesus being immortal.
The followers mortal.

So…
The god(s) exist, and they  are immortal.
Because in the hearts of the followers,
they exist.

Yet, we, the followers cannot expect  our:
pleading, begging, entertaining,  to be heard,
by the God(s).

Our voices mute to the immortal.
The Immortals not heeding or caring as we die.
