I am alone.
Afraid of the witches and demons,
as they whirl to a tune of madness.
Darkness of the soul,
taking over.
I fear of losing control,
and dancing in madness.
Sweet perfumes drive me wild,
I must find control.
She lays next to me;
I feel her touch of madness.
She whispers and chants,
I try not to listen.
She embraces me tight,
I am stiff,
unyielding,
afraid of madness.
Morning dawns and I awake,
a bush clinging to me,
in a small clearing of the desert.
I am alone.
